Maternity Reflexology

Master Reflexologist, Helen Whysong, Nancy Beauchamp BSN and Reflexologist Carrie Lynn Baucom, have just returned from Tucson where they attended a Maternity Reflexology class taught by Suzanne Enzer of the United Kingdom. Suzanne is an internationally known Registered Nurse – Midwife who has used reflexology exclusively in hospitals and clinics both in the United Kingdom and Australia.  This is Ms. Enzer’s first trip to the United States to teach this class and only approximately 35 Reflexologists in the entire country were able to take this course.

Both Helen, Carrie and Nancy are working on their certification in Maternity Reflexology.  This past weekend completed the first part of that training.  When completed they will be able to help couples from preconception to delivery, using the techniques they have learned.

Both Carrie and Helen will be traveling to Charlotte, North Carolina in April 2007 to complete the second part of their training.  In order to complete the training they are required to present their findings on four case studies.

Helen and Carrie are both looking for four women who are willing to be worked on at least five times, the following is the criteria they are looking for, one couple planning on getting pregnant in the next three to five months with both the man and the woman who will receive treatments, ideally this couple will have already tried to get pregnant and not been successful and are willing to try reflexology.

The other criteria they are looking for is one woman who has moderate to severe premenstrual tension, and then two women who are currently pregnant and have not gone thru IVF and are in their 2nd trimester and not a high risk pregnancy.
